North-east commercial property developer, Knight Property Group has today confirmed the appointment of Gordon Middleton to the newly created role of Group Finance Director.
Gordon, who joins the company this month, will also hold the position of Finance Director at Knight’s sister company, Chess Group.
Gordon joins the company from Stewart Milne Homes where he worked as Finance Director from April 2008. He has a wealth of experience gained in senior finance positions in both UK and international companies including GTC Group, Deutag UK and Smedvig Offshore.

Sister company, Chess Group, comprises a number of companies which together provide a comprehensive commercial property service. Among these are serviced office provider, BlueSky Business Space, and IT specialists, Eskimo Intelligent Solutions. Chess Group also holds a 25% stake in a number of other companies.
In the last 24 months, Knight Property Group has developed in excess of 300,000 sq ft of commercial space across Aberdeen City and Shire, with a further 265,000 sq feet planned in the next 18 months.
