Accountants and business advisory firm Dains has become the second tenant to take space at Hortons’ Estate’s Cathedral Court at 15 Colmore Row in Birmingham city centre.
The firm has taken a ten-year lease on 6,930 sq ft of Grade A space on the first floor.
Earlier this year, global property consultants Rider Levett Bucknall relocated its Birmingham office and UK headquarters to Cathedral Court, taking
7,250 sq ft on the third floor of the building.
Previously occupied by Barclays, landlord Hortons’ Estate is investing in the refurbishment of the building with improvements to the main entrance, ground floor reception and common areas.
Richard Norgrove, property director at Hortons’ Estate, said: “Following the letting to Rider Levett Bucknall, we are pleased to have secured another high profile professional firm as an occupier at Cathedral Court.
“Work is currently underway, led by main contractor Othello4, to complete the high specification fit out of the office in time for Dains’ move into the space in early November.
“Dains was attracted to Catherdal Court due to its prestige position within the Colmore Business District and by our planned investment in improvements and upgrades to the building.
“For businesses looking for high quality office accommodation in a central location, within easy reach of transport links and local amenities, there really is no better location.”
Cathedral Court currently has 14,162 sq ft of available space to let on the second and fourth floors.
GBR Phoenix Beard acted on behalf of Dains. DTZ advised Hortons’ Estate.
