Time-pressed business owners and SMEs are embracing a powerful secure cloud-based accountancy system offered to clients by Nottingham accountants EBS.
More than ninety-five percent of EBS’ clients offered the service since its launch less than 12-months ago have signed-up to using the online system.
The cloud-based and online accounting solution provides real time visibility to a businesses’ current financial position via a personalised dashboard that shows key information such as VAT liability, corporation and self-assessment tax.
It allows the exchange of confidential data between clients and EBS’ team of accountants, so that clients can view their financials online.
“Accurate book-keeping is fundamental to keeping a business on track,” comments Jill Evenden, MD of EBS Accountants which is based on Barker Gate, “and our online solution provides a time-saving option for our clients, many of which are SMEs.
“Clients see it as a powerful management tool that gives them the tools to see, at a glance, the business’ financial information, including corporation tax. They can view all transactions, bank statements and itemised information, at the touch of a button, whatever time of the day or night.
“This system saves client’s time as bank statements can be uploaded automatically, customers can be chased for payment, and as it is in real-time, we are able to easily undertake year end tax planning with the client.
“All data in the system is encrypted to ensure security and safety. It provides secure document backup, and the all-important compliance with data protection and other legislation.”
Jill adds: “Our clients can sign up to the service for a small monthly fee, and almost all have done so when they have seen how easy and convenient it is to check financial systems online and on-the-move. It is proving to be a great addition to our portfolio of client services and as more clients embrace mobile technology into their day-to-day working practices, we are currently developing a multi-device compatible version of our website.”
