Welsh rugby legend Adam Jones was the first guest speaker of the City of Newport Business Club’s 2013/14 season.
Jones, 32, agreed to the rare appearance on account of the Club’s “exceptional work” in the wider Newport community.
The Ospreys prop discussed his prolific career at the top of international rugby, and gave a personal account of his recent British & Irish Lions tour and described how he helped Wales to pummel England in the Six Nations Championship.
After a welcome from City of Newport Business Club Chairman Janine Dance; Jim Daniels from leading rugby agency Scrum Sport introduced Adam who delighted the audience with tales of his exploits on tour, as well as sharing some of the personal highs and lows of his career.
