BaseKit, the website builder platform, has relocated to one of Bristol’s landmark office buildings, The Pithay.
BaseKit Platform Ltd has taken 1,975 sq ft of office accommodation on the fourth floor of the building, in a deal secured by the Bristol office of DTZ on behalf of Focalartist Limited.
The Pithay comprises 181,872 sq ft of office space over eight floors in total and has one of the largest single open plan floor plates in Bristol.
Phil Moore, Senior Surveyor at DTZ in Bristol commented: “Following a £3m refurbishment programme completed earlier this year, The Pithay has proven to be a popular option for large and small occupiers alike due to its central location and flexible accommodation.”
DTZ and Colliers International jointly market the available accommodation.
BaseKit Platform Ltd is a DIY site-building platform which allows users to build their own fully hosted websites within a browser using templates and web apps. BaseKit appointed Knight Frank to advise them on their move from Chepstow to Bristol.
Golda Ajayi at BaseKit, commented on the move: “Having outgrown our existing offices we were keen to establish a base in the city and the availability of good quality accommodation and flexible leases meant The Pithay more than met all of our requirements.”
Located on All Saints Street in Bristol city centre, The Pithay is one of the largest multi-tenanted buildings in the south west. Current occupiers include, Department of Work and Pensions, Hyder Consulting and the Health and Safety Executive.
