Leading Cardiff law firm, NewLaw Solicitors, has won the ‘Deal of the Year’ award at the prestigious Modern Law Awards for the company’s deal with insurance giant, Ageas UK.
The awards ceremony was held at the Dorchester, London and NewLaw was up against some of the biggest firms in the UK, including Parabis and QUindell.
NewLaw announced a joint venture law firm with Ageas earlier this year to provide legal services to Ageas policyholders. The five-year limited partnership is between Ageas Legal, an LLP, and limited company NewLaw Legal.

NewLaw is also a finalist in the Insurance Times Awards 2013 and is shortlisted for The Law Society Excellence Awards for the category of Business Development & Innovation. Helen Molyneux has also been shortlisted for the Legal Business Woman of the Year.
NewLaw Solicitors is one of the top ten in the country for personal injury litigation, specialising in catastrophic and serious injuries. The firm currently employs in excess of 350 and in 2011, Helen Molyneux was voted Welsh Business Woman of the Year.
