An award-winning Cardiff fine dining restaurant has capped a remarkable week by received its first ever listing in the Michelin Guide 2014.
The Michelin Guide is the most influential in the catering industry, featuring the very best restaurants and hotels from across the UK, and Park House has received its first entry in the prestigious guidebook.
Alongside the listing, Park House has this week also won the AA Wine Award for Wales, and welcomed Sir David Attenborough to the restaurant for dinner.
The BBC nature guru was in Cardiff to deliver a lecture in the New Theatre on the Welsh-born naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace, and his ocean voyage to the Malay Archipelago.
2013 has been a very successful year for Park House, with the restaurant also being awarded its second AA Rosette and winning the South Wales Echo Restaurant of the Year award.
The restaurant is determined to improve the culinary standard within Cardiff and has targeted a coveted Michelin Star in the future.
Adam Pledger, Owner of the Park Houserestaurant, which is housed in a historic grade one-listed building overlooking the Civic Centre and Museum, said:
