KGA chartered surveyors acting on behalf of Bufab UK Ltd have acquired Unit 49 Heming Road, Washford Industrial Estate, Redditch to help expand their operation. Bufab UK have secured a 5 year lease on the property with an option to purchase.
KGA have seen Redditch as a destination for both local, and national occupiers continue to draw interest, a point supported by this latest expansion by Bufab.
Bufab, a subsidiary of a Swedish multi national, is a leading European manufacturer and supplier of small parts including nuts, bolts and screws. The Redditch operation distributes products across the UK into a variety of sectors including; automotive, aerospace, telecoms and construction.
Chris Koumides managing director of Bufab UK said ” The recent expansion of our operation shows the progress we are making. We decided to remain in Redditch given the transport links to the national motorway network via the M42. Furthermore the prevalence of automotive suppliers in the Redditch area coupled with the recent upturn in the car industry should present further opportunities for the company.”
Richard James-Moore, director at KGA commented; ” From our initial discussions with Bufab it was clear that expansion of their property holdings was required. Initially we advised on both freehold and leasehold properties and in the end managed to negotiate terms on 49 Heming Road on a leasehold basis with an option to buy which represented the best fit for the client. We wish Chris and his team every success at their new facility.”
