Following major changes faced by the legal sector in the wake of the Legal Services Act, the management team of a leading South Wales law firm has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.
HardingEvans is a finalist in the ‘Management Team of the Year’ category of the National Management and Leadership (NML) Awards in association with the Chartered Management Institute, in recognition of the proactive ways it has dealt with the changes to the legal industry.
One of the top 10 firms in Wales, HardingEvans’ award entry detailed the ways in which the management team implemented key changes, achieved pre-set goals and attained measurable outcomes.
Practice Director, Joy Phillips said: “We have worked extremely hard to put a strong management team in place to implement a strategy for safeguarding the firm’s profitability and market share. Our team is comprised of a number of business specialists with experts in finance, HR, management, marketing and IT.
“We’re very proud of what we have achieved at HardingEvans and the fact that we have been able to meet the exacting targets that we have set for ourselves. To be shortlisted for the NML awards is recognition of the success of our approach to date.”
Now in its fourth year, the annual NML awards recognise excellence and outstanding performance in the field of management and leadership. The winners will be announced at the NML Awards Ceremony at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel, London, on Thursday 10th October.
HardingEvans is one of South Wales’ most progressive law firms, delivering a full range of legal services to businesses and individuals. The firm has previously won various awards and been named welsh law firm of the year.
