IM Properties has appointed Harry Goodman as graduate surveyor, providing additional support to its Investment and Asset Management team.
Harry graduated from Nottingham Trent University earlier this year with a First Class Honours degree in Real Estate and received an award for ‘Excellent Performance in the Final Year’ in recognition of his outstanding level of work.
Harry is currently working on a number of projects across IM Properties’ portfolio, including management of the Coleshill Manor Estate and involvement in the operation of the recently acquired Mell Square shopping centre in Solihull.
He said: “I heard about IM Properties while I was on a work placement with a property agent as part of my degree course and I enquired about a graduate position with them when I returned to university. It’s a great opportunity to secure a position in a client-side organisation, a business that is well funded, geared for growth and has a hugely diverse portfolio.
“The properties that I am working on at the moment are giving me a great deal of insight into the practicalities of the property industry. IM Properties is clearly making big steps in the level and size of their acquisitions and I am looking forward to contributing to this on-going growth.”
IM Properties is one of the UK’s largest privately-owned property investment and development businesses, based at the Coleshill Manor Estate in the West Midlands.
Tim Wooldridge, Managing Director, IM Properties, said: “With our growing portfolio of properties it is vital that we have the right people in place to ensure our continued success as the industry emerges from a period of economic instability.
“Harry’s self-motivation and strong work ethic is exactly the combination that we look for and I am sure that he will prove himself to be a valuable member of the IM Properties team as he continues to grow and develop his skills.”
