Lambert Smith Hampton picked-up two awards at this year’s regional EGi Deals Competition, making it seven years in a row to have dominated the awards.
National commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) took home two awards at this year’s South Coast EGi Deals Competition: EGi Deal Winner 2013 for Hampshire and EGi Deal Maker, which was awarded to Andrew Farrer.
Historically, the South Coast team have dominated the regional EGi Deals Competition and the team have been awarded EGi Deal Winner for seven years in a row. This year LSH beat Goadsby (second place) and Hughes Ellard (third place) to take the top spot.
The awards are calculated on number of commercial property deals that have been secured for the year, up until the end of August, in size (square feet) and number.
The South Coast EGi Deals Competition, run by Estates Gazette, takes place every year at the Hampshire and Dorset Focus Reception, held at the Royal Yacht Club in Southampton. The same awards take place for other regions across the UK.
Head of LSH’s South Coast office, Graham Holland, attended the event together with agents Elise Evans, Andrew Hodgkinson and Adrian Whitfield. The awards were presented to the team by Estates Gazette Editor Damian Wild and Regional Editor Stacey Meadwell.
“We are so pleased to have won, yet again, at the Estates Gazette awards,” says Graham. “It is a real testament to our hard working team that go out every day and put in the hours to get these deals over the line. Special congratulations should go to Andrew for taking away Deal Maker. Andrew joined the team just over a year ago and takes over the mantle from Robin Dickens, last year’s winner.
“After having such a fantastic run over the last seven years, the expectation is that we will win, so to be honest it was also a nice relief – I would have a lot of explaining to do if we hadn’t won!”
