Acting on behalf of ING REIM, national commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has secured a new tenant at Southampton Trade Park.
Carpet Range Ltd, a carpet and vinyl flooring provider, has signed for 3,120 sq ft at unit 6 on the estate. Its new home at unit 6 will support the company’s expansion, where it will be accompanied by other well known ancillary tenants such as Tile Giant, Anbo and Crown Paints. A rent of 24,960 per annum was agreed, on a 10 year lease.
Javed Chowdhary at Carpet Range commented: “We chose Southampton Trade Park as the premises are in a good location and easily accessible from the M27. In addition, the combined warehouse / showroom set-up of the space was ideal for our needs. We are looking forward to opening our doors to the public on completion of the fit-out works.”
Elise Evans in LSH’s South Coast team, added: “This unit is one of the four smallest units on the estate, with the other three currently being let or under offer. The shortage of stock in the market, set against the quality of the Southampton Trade Park space, has been a key driver to attracting expanding occupiers to the estate.”
LSH acts alongside Jones Lang LaSalle as joint marketing agents on the scheme.
