ES Group, the new collective name for niche property and asset consultants Edward Symmons LLP and Storeys Edward Symmons, has announced today that it has acquired Exeter-based agency, Aaron Fox. The acquisition links with the group’s growth plans, which will also see the move of the current ES Group Plymouth office to Exeter.
Having developed a strong reputation in the Devon commercial property market since its conception in 1999, Aaron Fox specialises in business space agency – both offices and industrial – and investment advice. The acquisition is an ideal fit for ES Group, complementing the skills of the existing team in the South West and marrying with the firm’s established agency and investment teams nationwide. It follows on from the purchase of Storeys:ssp – now Storeys Edward Symmons – in December 2011, as the group continues to grow in line with its valued reputation as a partner-led firm of niche specialists in a wide range of property and asset disciplines.
The ES Group will move to premises within Aaron Fox’s existing Exeter office from 25 September.

Nick Boyd, Senior Partner of ES Group comments “We are delighted to welcome Aaron Fox to the ES Group family of companies. As with our link up with Storeys Edward Symmons, Aaron Fox presents us with an ideal cultural and geographical fit that will extend our reach and service provision in the South West and further develop our reputation as a leading national agency player. Steady and appropriate growth is at the root of the group’s success and we are very confident that Aaron Fox will be a complementary addition to our business.”
Adam Parsons of Aaron Fox adds: “This deal marks an exciting new chapter for the Aaron Fox business, allowing us to draw on the experience of the agency team ES Group boasts nationwide and bring new services to the Exeter and Devon marketplace.
“Exeter is increasingly seen as a strong and prosperous regional city location covering most of the South West Region. We have built up a strong presence within the business space sector, and significant external investment has been flowing into the city in ever increasing sums as the city is increasingly viewed as a safe bet. “
