M&G Real Estate, the real estate investment management arm of M&G Investments, confirms it has leased an additional 2,433 sq ft of office space to existing occupier Aldermore Bank, as it extends its office within the Apex Plaza in Reading.
Aldermore Bank, which provides specialist financial solutions to savers and small to medium sized enterprises, originally signed a ten-year lease in 2010 for 8,039 sq ft. This additional 2,433 st ft is co-terminus with the existing lease, therefore expiring in 2020 at a rent of £29.50 per sq ft.
Commenting Aaron Pope, Associate Director, Asset Management at M&G Real Estate, says: “We are pleased that Aldermore Bank is expanding within the Apex Plaza which is now almost fully let. The development underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2010 and is now home to well-known financial brands such as Ernst & Young, HSBC and Osborne Clarke. We continue to see strong tenant demand due to its town centre location and its close proximity to London. Only 7,000 sq ft remains available at Apex Plaza.”
CBRE and Campbell Gordon represented M&G Real Estate.
