Firms in the north of Warwickshire can find out how to take their business overseas at a free business clinic.
The clinics, being delivered by the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce and Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, take place on the first Thursday of every month.
The next event is on Thursday, September 5 from 12.30pm until 4.30pm at the Town Hall in Nuneaton and an international trade expert, from the Chamber’s UKTI team, will be on hand to offer help and advice on overseas trade.
Businesses in the north of Warwickshire can book a meeting with the adviser at the clinic, which can be developed further at a later date.
Helena Arundel, a business adviser at the Chamber, runs the clinics and said that it was a great opportunity for local firms.
She said: “We have had a great response to the clinics which began in July and we have provided advice on a range of issues.
“International trade is so important to the future success of individual businesses as well as our economy as a whole, we decided that would be the focus of September’s clinics.
“Our international trade expert will be able to advise on a range of issues including understanding barriers to overseas business; information on how to access business partners/customers; understanding the competitive environment; how to explore overseas markets; as well as legal and regulatory requirements.”
