Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest privately-owned real estate services firm, has signed three new retailers for Royal Priors shopping centre in Leamington Spa.
Popular Italian restaurant chain Carluccio’s has recently opened a new 3,000 sq ft eatery directly opposite Cath Kidston’s new 1,800 sq ft store at the mall, while leading toy retailer The Entertainer will shortly open a 5,000 sq ft outlet in the next few weeks.
James Merrett, partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s Retail team, advised the landlord – LaSalle Investment Management – on all three lettings. He commented: “These lettings reinforce retailer sentiment that Royal Priors is the dominant shopping centre and prime retailing location in Leamington Spa. With retailers such as Marks & Spencer, Topshop, Topman, GAP, Superdry and Waterstones already in place, the new additions to the centre will strengthen Royal Priors’ offering even further.”
Simon Usher, associate director at LaSalle Investment Management, confirmed: “These lettings demonstrate the strength of the retail offer within Leamington Spa, which is desirable to retailers in its existing configuration. The mix of good restaurants and aspirational retailers ensures the town centre continues to thrive.”
Kelion Sworn advised Carluccio’s, CBRE provided advice to Cath Kidston and Reid Rose Gregory was instructed by The Entertainer.
