HPH Commercial Property has agreed a deal that will bring an empty town centre unit back into use. Negotiated by property consultants Alder King, a letting has been secured on 7 New Road, Chippenham.
The 400 sq ft (37.26 sq m) property has been let on a new five year lease to TaxAssist Accountants, which specialises in accountancy and tax services for small businesses.
Previously used as a delicatessen and an estate agency practice, the property provides mid-terrace ground floor accommodation at the heart of a busy town centre location with a high volume of passing traffic and strong pedestrian footfall.
Alison Williams, associate at Alder King in Swindon, says: “Demand for properties in a strong pitch always generate a lot of interest. The new occupier was keen to secure premises with good visibility and its previous use as an estate agency also had some bearing on their decision to proceed.”
