On behalf of Peninsula Business Services, DTZ has completed the largest Grade A office letting of 2013.
The 8th floor of The Peninsula comprising 11,778 sq ft has been let to Kelway, an inward mover relocating to Manchester city centre from Bury.
The Peninsula is a relatively new addition to the Manchester skyline delivered in the last development cycle. The building offers excellent connectivity due to its location within immediate proximity of Victoria Station and a short walk from the city’s finest retail amenities of Selfridges, Marks and Spencer and Harvey Nicholls.
The building provides 147,000sq ft over 12 floors with 195 on site car parking spaces. Kelway joins other occupiers already located in the building such as Peninsula Business Services and Laterooms. The letting to Kelway means that only the 7th floor of 11,748 sq ft remains vacant.
Rob Yates, Office Agency Director at DTZ commented: “The Peninsula is one of the best of Manchester’s recent developments. The quality of the accommodation, usability of floorplate and its high profile location all appeal to a number of occupiers who are finding the supply of quality accommodation in Manchester city centre limited due to the lack of new development.”
“There is considerable interest in the remaining floor and we anticipate announcing a further letting in the near future. The supply of Grade A accommodation offering large floor plates is becoming constrained.”
DTZ and Edwards & Co are letting agents for The Peninsula.
