An experienced figure in estate management is returning to Leicestershire after joining one of the UK’s nationally renowned rural property companies.
James Brown has been appointed Partner at Fisher German, which has 15 offices throughout England.
The 35-year-old will be focusing on private clients in the estate management sector from Fisher German’s 55-strong office in High Street, Market Harborough.
James worked with Strutt & Parker in Canterbury for seven years before moving to the firm’s Market Harborough office in 2007 as an Associate.
Three-and-a-half years later, he joined Smiths Gore in Lichfield where he was promoted to Partner during his two-and-a-half years with the firm.
James, who has lived near Oakham for the last six years with his wife and two young daughters, said he is excited about joining the team in Market Harborough and he is relishing the opportunity of carrying out more work on his home patch and across the wider East Midlands.
“I have joined an experienced and well established team under the leadership of John Palmer. The company is growing all the time and there are plenty of opportunities within its rural consultancy sector,” he said.
“I have principally been involved in estate management for the whole of my career and have gained wide experience in dealing with private clients, large institutions and government agencies so I am used to dealing with all different types of clients’ needs.
“Fisher German has the experts to provide a full management service or advice in one particular area of rural property to ensure customers receive the best possible estate management guidance as we continue to move forward in an ever-changing industry.
“I am looking forward to getting to know clients in the area I will be covering which stretches from the East Midlands to Hertfordshire and it is good to be back on familiar territory in Market Harborough.”
John Palmer from Fisher German added: “We are delighted James has joined Fisher German as a partner in our diverse rural consultancy team.
“Not only will his expertise and experience in the region be of huge benefit to us but his skills in meeting our clients’ requirements will help the company continue to provide the most comprehensive service possible.”
