The subject premises comprise a net internal area of 1,997 sq ft and were let on a new effective full repairing and insuring lease for a term of 7 years. The quoting rental was £12,000 per annum, exclusive.
Goadsby also manage this property and Grant Cormack from the Retail Department commented, “I was pleased that through our Management, Building Consultancy and Retail Departments working jointly we were able secure a new tenant for the premises and subsequently the centre is now 100% let”.
Adrian Gilbert from the Building Consultancy department commented “We acted as Contract Administrators and monitored quality and progress to the external redecoration works to the Centre during the autumn of last year. The works, valued in excess of £100,000 included decoration to the clock tower, walkways and car park as well as roof repairs and replacement and upgrading of seating and litter bins. The specification and quality of these improvements has helped make the centre an attractive proposition for potential tenants and improved the quality of surroundings to both existing tenants and their customers”.
