Next has taken an extra 10,000 sq ft of space at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway to create a new flagship store, coinciding with a number of other lifestyle retailers also signing new leases. The additional space has provided Next with a 43,000 sq ft store on a 15 year lease.
Bristol property adviser GVA are the letting agents for The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, which is owned by property developer JT Baylis, Prupim and Capital Shopping Centres. Cushman and Wakefield are joint agents.
Other retailers lined up to open at the shopping centre before Christmas are Hugo Boss, signed for a 2,500 sq store and Jack & Jones for a 2,150 sq ft unit. L’Occitane and Love Coffee have recently opened new units along with Austin Reed who have upsized by 60%, to 4,600 sq ft to incorporate Country Casuals and Viyella. All have new 10 year leases.
David Mace, regional senior director at GVA says, “This raft of lettings continues to demonstrate the appeal of The Mall at Cribbs Causeway for retailers and confirms its position as the south west’s leading regional centre.”
