Sigma Systems, the leader in catalogue-driven service fulfillment solutions, has completed the acquisition of UK-based Tribold Limited, the world’s leading provider of Enterprise Product Management (EPM) software. Tribold operates its research and development out of its centre in Cwmbran.
Sigma selected Tribold for its demonstrated technology leadership, its strong marketing position, especially among telecommunications service providers, and its team of technology experts. The Cwmbran office was established by Tribold in 2011 because of the availability of highly skilled staff and the region’s policies and support for new business growth. The Tribold team will play a key role in Sigma’s continued growth, and the company is committed to exceeding the target of creating 45 new jobs.

Sigma’s acquisition of Tribold brings together two leading product lines to create a comprehensive, multi-channel solution stack that offers a true ‘idea-to-install’ platform, enabling communications service providers around the world to quickly and easily introduce and manage new services such as consumer, enterprise, cloud and M2M applications for their subscribers. Tribold brings to Sigma industry-leading catalogue-driven capabilities, enabling operators to automate the entire process from the point of creating and deploying new products and services, to creating and configuring the customer’s order, through to delivering the order with installation and activation.
