Charity chooses REI’s Colmore Row office space

The fund-raising arm of Birmingham Children’s Hospital has taken space in Real Estate Investors’ 102 Colmore Row building.

It has opted for 200 sq ft of office accommodation on a five year lease.

The refurbished premises comprise small individual suites and the move keeps Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charities central as well close by the hospital itself.

REI senior asset manager Ian Clark said: “We are delighted to be able to facilitate the needs of one of Birmingham’s leading charities.

“It is a great cause and should rightly be very proud of all the good work that it does. It is always hard for children to be in hospital and money raised goes to making their stay a little easier.”

A spokesman for the charity said: “Our mission is to make a real difference to the 250,000 children the hospital treats each year, their families and staff by providing additional facilities, equipment and research and by creating a caring environment for all concerned.”

The charity joins Centrick Property, LM Recruitment and Ashfield Land in the complex, leaving just five suites still available.

“It is filling up fast,” said Mr Clark.
