Andy Bradshaw of Hamptons recently paid a visit to Many Tears Animal Rescue in Carmarthen with yet another consignment of towels and blankets donated by generous Hamptons customers.
Andy also took a cheque for £145.00, which was raised by their customers donations and the 5p charge for their carrier bags, bringing the grand total raised so far to £1705. This is enough to pay for the vet fees, neutering/speying, vaccinations, micro chipping and the rescue and re-homing costs for 11 dogs.
Andy commented “Thank you to everyone who has helped us to achieve this wonderful result. We’re still collecting towels, blankets which are urgently needed, together with dog food and packs of black bin bags – anything you can donate will be so gratefully received. You only have to meet Millie, Georgie or Daisy; our Westies who will be known to many Hamptons customers, to see what an amazing difference your support can make to the life of a rescue dog.”
“Also, during August we’re raising more money for Many Tears by selling several hundred face flannels which have been donated to Many Tears. These will cost just £1 with all proceeds going to Many Tears- they make perfect stocking fillers for early bird Christmas shoppers!”
