DTZ has expanded its Retail Agency team across the northern region with two new appointments. David Legat joins as Associate Director and Chris Jayne as Senior Surveyor.
David Legat joins DTZ’s northern region Retail Agency team from Liverpool based Mason Owen and Partners’. Over the last four years he has dealt with both acquisitions and disposals: acquiring units in line with retail clients’ requirements to meet their expansion objectives. He has also advised on a wide variety of disposals for Landlord clients. His previous clients include Grosvenor, Aegon, Standard Life Investments, Iceland and Neptune Developments. David will be taking the lead in the north west on retail agency and providing support to existing DTZ clients including Manchester City Council, Aviva, Hammerson and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Leeds based, Chris Jayne has moved from Consulting to work in the northern region retail team. He will be responsible for disposing of the Royal Bank of Scotland’s surplus assets in addition to assisting with the completion of existing instructions across the region including the former Royal Mail site in Bradford, the former Focus DIY site in Guisborough and a Local Authority site in Halifax. Since joining the company in 2006, Chris has provided development advice to a wide range of public and private sector clients and is looking forward to focussing on expanding DTZ’s activity in towns and cities across the north.
