Cadogan, advised by CBRE and Nash Bond, has secured a new restaurant to its growing mix of retail and catering in Chelsea.
La Bottega, the popular, high-end Italian Delicatessen has taken a new 600 sq ft cafe and deli on Pont Street, just off Sloane Street, London. This will be La Bottega’s fifth restaurant in the area with others located in Belgravia, Chelsea, South Kensington and St James’s.
Previously a fashion store, Cadogan chose La Bottega for this location to bring more amenities to the location, which already counts well-known brands including Anya Hindmarch, Emilia Wickstead, Agent Provocateur and Rachel Riley as neighbours.
Hugh Seaborn, Chief Executive Officer at Cadogan Estate, commented: “La Bottega is a welcome addition to the area. It will bring a fantastic food offer that will add vibrancy to Pont Street and strengthen the leisure offer on this part of Estate. We are fully committed to delivering high quality leisure amenities as part of our long term strategy to offer a strong mix of retail and catering for our local residents and office workers.”
This recent letting adds to the flurry of deals recently announced by Cadogan on Duke of York Square, recent additions include lettings to COS, Trilogy, the jeans retailer who doubled the size of their existing store and Sarah Pacini who has relocated to a bigger store.
The Cadogan Estate comprises 93 acres of Chelsea stretching northwards on Sloane Street as far as Knightsbridge and Harvey Nichols, southwards through Sloane Square and past Peter Jones to Lower Sloane Street and westwards, with several holdings on King’s Road as far as Beaufort Street. The family’s 300 year stewardship of the Estate continues in the hands of their Chairman, Viscount Chelsea, eldest son of Earl Cadogan.
