Leading law firm, NewLaw Solicitors, has strengthened its senior management team by recruiting Rhiannon Cambrook-Woods as its Head of Fast Track claims.
Rhiannon will be responsible for managing over 20,000 client referrals per year and a team of over 240 people, across the firm’s Cardiff, Bristol and Basingstoke offices. Rhiannon, an experienced solicitor with more than 15 years in a senior manager role, has been appointed following the business’ significant growth over the last year.
Rhiannon will be based in the Cardiff office and will be responsible for streamlining work processes across all three offices to ensure that, with the rapid increase in case load, all claims are being managed in the most efficient and effective way. Her appointment is a key reflection on the continued expansion of NewLaw across Wales and England.
Rhiannon has previously held the role of Senior Litigation Manager at Leech & Co Solicitors where she established its Bath office. In addition she has been self-employed as the Managing Director of a financial and risk management auditing business focusing on maximising profitability at Solicitors firms as well as 10 years at Helphire Group plc responsible for a £60m annual budget.
Also joining Rhiannon in the Cardiff office is Stuart Howard, who has been appointed as a Senior Litigator in the road traffic accidents team. Stuart will also be assisting with the streamlining of processes and providing his technical expertise and advice to junior handlers. Stuart has previously worked as a Senior Litigator in personal injury claims at Lyons Davidson in London.
Speaking about her appointment, Mrs Cambrook-Woods said: “I’m really excited about joining the team at NewLaw. I’m competitive and passionate about what I do so it is the perfect platform to share and implement my experience and knowledge of managing cases efficiently and effectively in order to maximise profit for the company, while ensuring all our clients receive the service they deserve.”
Helen Molyneux, CEO of NewLaw, said: “Rhiannon will be a real asset to our rapidly expanding team in Cardiff and across our Bristol and Basingstoke offices. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her that will be invaluable to the growth and profitability of the business. Stuart’s appointment reflects our continued growth in the Cardiff office and the need for more experienced technical managers. He will be a valuable addition to the team in Cardiff”
