World Snooker – which handles most of the sport’s top flight fixtures across the UK – has taken over office space at 75 Whiteladies Road in a move brokered by city office specialists Colliers International.
The expanding organisation took space in Clifton in preference to the city centre, citing a requirement for quirky and stylish surroundings.
National Offices specialist James Preece said the deal – for 2,118 sq ft plus car parking, underlined the continued popularity of Clifton as an alternative to Bristol city centre.
He said: “Although offices take-up in the city centre has been strong during Q2 we are still seeing good demand from occupiers who prefer to be located in the Clifton area.”
Clifton remains a popular destination for both national and local occupiers within the professional, service and media sectors such as the BBC, Allied Irish Bank and Films@59, particularly those with a preference for self-contained buildings as is the case with no.75.
“This self-contained, four floor period office ticked all the boxes for World Snooker which previously operated in Albert Road.”
The offices boast a prominent location on Whiteladies Road close to Clifton Down shopping centre and also offer six car parking spaces. It provides direct access to the M5 and City Centre, as well as the local retail, banking and leisure facilities.
