The high quality of business courses offered by the University of the West of England has been highlighted by Bristol commercial property specialists Colliers International who have appointed two more students to their industrial and commercial lease consultancy teams.
Head of office Tim Davies said the scheme gave students practical experience vital to their qualifications and career prospects.
He said: “We are committed to employing the best young people and we see the value of attracting students from one of the West’s leading universities to give them a taste of the business and allow them to take the first steps towards a career in commercial property.”
Danielle Hatton from Nailsea, will join Tim in the industrial and logistics team while and Rebecca Ewart from Cornwall joins Chris Dawson in the commercial lease consultancy team – both will be based at the Broad Quay office.
Tim Davies said: “Last year’s intake of students worked very hard in a real-world business environment and helped us nail some headline deals around Bristol. I am confident Danielle and Rebecca will also return to UWE with a practical understanding of the career paths they have chosen.
“Rebecca and Danielle will be helping us to handle the significant growth in business we have witnessed this past year and help maintain our young team’s energy and focus.”
