A newly qualified chartered surveyor is taking another step up the property career ladder after joining Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).
The national commercial property consultancy’s property and asset management team has welcomed surveyor Tom Donnachie to its Nottingham office.
Tom has recently passed the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors’ Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become a qualified chartered surveyor. He will be responsible for managing LSH’s wide-ranging East Midlands property portfolio, acting for both national and regional investors.
Liam Hawes, senior surveyor at LSH in Nottingham, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Tom to the team. He already has a wealth of experience in managing industrial, office and retail properties and he will be a real asset to LSH.”
Tom said: “Having lived and worked in London for the past three years, I wanted to move back to the East Midlands. Lambert Smith Hampton has an excellent presence and reputation in the area so it was a perfect opportunity to progress my career with the leading property experts.”
Besides real estate, Tom is also a keen sportsman. He plays football for Melbourne Dynamo in the Midlands Regional Alliance and is a keen golfer and cricketer.
Tom gained an MSc Property Appraisal and Management degree at Sheffield Hallam University. He also studied geography at Durham University.
Tom joins LSH from Workman LLP, where he was senior surveyor in the London office. He also worked as an assistant estates surveyor at Nottingham City Council.
LSH is a national commercial property consultancy that works with investors, developers and occupiers across the public and private sectors, and it is single-mindedly focused on UK and Irish property markets.
