Harris Lamb has welcomed a chartered surveyor with more than 20 years’ experience of work in the sector to its Birmingham team.
Having spent 24 years working for the Valuation Office Agency, principally at Birmingham VOA, Erich Gutt has an extensive knowledge of rating law and experience of valuing most types of property.
Erich has joined Harris Lamb’s Birmingham office in Francis Road, bringing with him valuable insight into the region, expertise in the valuation of Industrial property, and further experience in the valuation of offices and retail property.
Andrew Lamb, director of Harris Lamb said: “The business continues to grow to service our clients, and due to an ever-increasing portfolio of agency, building and planning projects, we have once again increased our resource to enable us to provide the standard of service we’re committed to delivering.
“With extensive experience, Erich was a natural fit with our Ratings team, and as part of the 2005 Rating Revaluation team responsible for the revaluation of Non-Bulk properties including doctor’s surgeries, sports grounds, community centres, and so on, he has a thorough understanding of valuing properties of all sizes and uses, so will be a great asset to the business,” he added.
Erich said: “having spent more than 20 years working with the Valuation Office Agency, I have a wealth of experience to complement Harris Lamb’s skillset. I joined the company due to its standing as a market leader. Having been named the most active agent in the Midlands for the past five years, Harris Lamb has an excellent reputation in the market place and I was delighted to take the opportunity to join the successful rating team.”
