A leading business organisation is hoping the phrase ‘mighty oaks from tiny acorns grow’ will prove apt as it launches a new service.
The Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce is launching Acorn Interactive – an internationally acclaimed web-based platform that helps small and medium sized exporters.
Acorn’s online export documentation preparation enables firms to create all the documents required for any international shipment with single data entry.
The service will offer tools and information covering the export process including export documentation, export training, language & international marketing services, financial, legal & contractual services and country information.
Acorn Interactive will be supported by a range of local Chamber members offering services to potential and existing exporters. This includes Freight Forwarding companies (Inxpress, Exact Logistics, Independent Freight) and translation services (Comtec Translations, Prima Lingua).
Keely Hancox, of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “There is a real drive to get more companies exporting and we believe this new service will provide business across Coventry and Warwickshire with a huge helping hand in taking their products and services overseas.
“On top of that, of course, we also have the UKTI team based here at the Chamber which means businesses who want to export have a one-stop-shop of international trade support here.
