Chartered surveyors Johnson Fellows is celebrating after extending its contract to manage the West Midlands Portfolio on behalf of Greater Manchester Pension Fund.
The Birmingham-based company, which has been working with the property group since 2001, has secured a further five-year contract.
The West Midlands Portfolio, part of the Greater Manchester Pension Fund/Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, comprises four properties:
The Red Rose Shopping Centre located in Sutton Coldfield town centre is home to 12 national and local retailers. The centre includes a multi-storey car park and the Sutton Coldfield Library, which officially reopened to the public earlier this month (June) after being closed for nearly three years due to asbestos removal and refurbishment works.
The Bearwood Shopping Centre located on the High Street in Bearwood, near Smethwick. It is anchored by Aldi and Argos and includes eight national and independent retailers.

A parade on Kings Heath High Street including Wilkinson, Burton, Bonmarché, Scrivens, Greggs and Specsavers. Redevelopment work is currently underway to create a new double unit within the parade, which will see a new retailer take occupancy near September in readiness for Christmas trading.
