Acting on behalf of Seaward Properties Ltd, national commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has secured a new tenant for warehouse space in Chichester.
Unit 2 Terminus Road, an industrial trade counter building fronting Terminus Road in Chichester, has been let to Rexel UK Ltd, trading as WF Senate. WF Senate is part of the Rexel Group, a global leader in the distribution of electrical supplies and services. The company operates in 37 countries with a network of some 2,100 branches and over 28,000 employees. The business has signed a new 10 year lease on the 5,567 sq ft unit, at a rent rising to £5.50 per sq ft.
WF Senate is upsizing from its existing facility on Leigh Road on the Terminus Road industrial estate, and is looking to benefit from the increased passing trade offered by the more prominent roadside location of unit 2.
Andrew Farrer, Surveyor in LSH’s South Coast Agency team, commented: “Seaward Properties was able to capitalise on the lack of roadside stock off Terminus Road, and following a comprehensive refurbishment programme was able to resurrect the life of a dated secondary facility into a functional, prominent, trade counter unit. This consequently attracted the attention of national trade operators, including Rexel UK Ltd.”
