South East office interiors specialist, Saracen Interiors has appointed Alex Stewart as senior project consultant. Alex is responsible for nurturing new business leads and developing projects in their infancy, ensuring that the customers’ needs are fully understood and dissected before any preliminary proposals are put together.
An experienced relationships manager, Alex has a background in residential property and is now making his first foray into the commercial property world. Working at his best in a customer-facing environment, Alex explains why he is relishing his new role at Saracen: “Saracen’s focus is on the building of relationships. It has a strong delivery track record and the directors have built the business on the principle that the best way of working is to work in close partnership with the clients. To embrace that ethos is to listen to the client and to take on the role of consultant, providing solutions that will ensure that all the client’s needs are met.
“It is a strategy that works as almost 90 per cent of the work that comes through is repeat business and three new divisions have launched on the back of this, to service the clients’ growing needs. It’s an exciting time to join the company – I admire the focus that exists in this environment and I look forward to taking on that mantle.”
Joint managing director of Saracen Interiors, Michael Page is delighted to welcome Alex: “We were keen to bring in new blood – somebody that might not neccesarily be experienced in our industry and so joins the party with no preconceptions. The most pertinent attribute that Alex was able to demonstrate was enthusiasm. He may not have a deep knowledge of our sector at the moment but he has strong relationship management skills and that and his passion for the role made him the most credible candidate. We’re pleased to have this talented individual in the team.”
Saracen has recently launched three new divisions – Saracen Facilities, Saracen Small Works and Saracen Move Management – as well as adding to its business development team with a raft of significant appointments. More recruitment announcements are expected in the coming months.
Saracen’s recent clients include TE Connectivity, Aspect Property Group, Flight Safety, CH2M Hill, Countrywide PLC, Knight Frank, Mitie Engineering, Pizza Hut, Redrow, Soccer World, Thames Water, Toshiba, Trident Trust, Viatel, BAE Systems, Sue Ryder Care, Sandhurst School, North Surrey Primary Care Trust, Royal Berkshire and Battle Hospital NHS Trust.
