Employees from Cardiff-based law firm, NewLaw Solicitors, have donned their football boots to raise nearly £900 for the Carer’s Trust.
The top law firm organised a charity football tournament at Cardiff City Stadium which saw four teams from NewLaw’s offices in Cardiff, Bristol and Basingstoke kick, tackle and score their way to raising the impressive amount.
Helen Molyneux, CEO of NewLaw, said: “We are really pleased to have raised nearly £900 for the Carer’s Trust. It is a fantastic charity which provides respite to people caring for friends and relatives who are unable to manage day to day tasks alone.
“As personal injury lawyers, we specialise in helping people claim compensation so they can afford rehabilitation and care after sustaining life changing injuries – but often our clients will have friends and family caring for them as well. Carers do what they do out of the goodness of their hearts and we are thrilled to have been able to fundraise for a charity which gives carers the support they deserve.”
NewLaw Solicitors is one of the top ten in the country for personal injury litigation, specialising in catastrophic and serious injuries. Through the firm’s Charity Committee, they have raised over £30k for various charities across the UK in the last year.
