Nottingham architects CPMG has promoted one of its senior architects David Shaw to the position of associate with the firm in recognition of the contribution he has made to the business over recent years and his potential for the future.
David trained at the University of Nottingham and has been with CPMG for 9 years, his areas of specialism are education and healthcare and he has been the design lead on projects including the St Ann’s Valley Centre in Nottingham.
CPMG employs 45 people and provides quality architecture, interior design, space planning and master planning services for clients across the UK. The firm services a variety of industries including the education, commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential, hotels and leisure, transportation and retail sectors and has earned a national reputation for its innovative work.
CPMG director Nick Gregory said: “David’s an excellent designer and has become a valuable and respected member of the team at CPMG. We are very proud of the St Ann’s Valley Centre that he designed and he’s also been instrumental in developing our education portfolio across the country, including the Centre for Creative Technologies at Teesside University and the Discovery Academy at Stoke on Trent.”
