Investment management firm Brewin Dolphin has added to its sponsorship portfolio as its Swansea office announces two new agreements.
The West Wales office has become an official sponsor of the Llandeilo Festival of Music, which is now in its 14th year. The company has also announced that it has become the title sponsor of the Tenby Sailing Club for a second year running.
The Llandeilo Festival of Music attracts artists from the world of classical music. The week-long festival, which takes place between 13th and 21st July, is a permanent fixture in many a music lover’s calendar, drawing in local and national crowds each year.
The Swansea-based office, which represents private investors, charities and pension fund holders across the breadth of West Wales, will host a special piano recital by Mark Bebbington on Wednesday 17th July.
One of the country’s finest pianists, Mark Bebbington’s performances and recordings are regularly broadcast on Radio3 and he’s been reviewed to great acclaim by some of the foremost music magazines such as Musical Opinion, BBC Music Magazine and Classical Music Magazine.
The sponsorship by the Swansea office adds to Brewin Dolphin’s other associations with the world of music including sponsorships with the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
After sponsoring the Tenby Sailing Club in 2012 as part of Brewin Dolphin’s 250th anniversary celebrations, Brewin Dolphin has agreed to extend its relationship with the club for a further year.
Brewin Dolphin will support Tenby Sailing Club for the season as they continue to provide sailing, sail racing, sailing events and social functions to junior, adult and senior members across Pembrokeshire.
The sponsorship in Tenby adds to other Brewin Dolphin sailing sponsorships around the country including The Royal Southern Yacht Club Anniversary Regatta and The Brewin Dolphin British Open Metre Regatta, as well as a major new sponsorship of the Commodores’ Cup sailing championship.
Richard Kelly, Director at Brewin Dolphin in Swansea said: “We are pleased to announce our new sponsorship of the Llandeilo Music Festival. The event has grown year on year to much acclaim and continues to attract renowned international artists. This year’s event is promising to be spectacular and we know it’ll be a hit with our clients.
“We’re also delighted to be able to continue our sponsorship of Tenby Sailing Club. We already have an established history of supporting the sport through our other offices, so it’s great to be able to continue to put something into the sport in Wales. We have become very well known in Swansea and we are now looking to build brand awareness further West. This sponsorship continues our journey as we look to build relationships with private clients, charities and IFAs in Pembrokeshire.”
Julia Jones, the Llandeilo Festival’s Artistic Director, said: “We’re really excited with this new sponsorship. What we have established in Llandeilo in the past thirteen years has been a remarkable achievement, recognised by conoisseurs of music everywhere, and it is extremely gratifying to know that a firm of the unrivalled calibre and reputation of Brewin Dolphin wants to become a part of what we are doing. We all look forward to the constructive development of this relationship, which will be very much to our mutual benefit.”
