Aberdeen-based C has secured a 15 year lease with floating production storage and offloading operator, Teekay Petrojarl.
Teekay Petrojarl will relocate in the summer from its current offices in Dyce into the Westhill based Grade A office space which includes 78 parking spaces, double height feature entrance atrium and open plan column free space internally.
The 18,904 sq ft, three story office was built on a speculative basis and attracted a substantial amount of interest, as one of few commercial property developments within Aberdeen and its boundaries. The property itself represents an investment in excess of £6 million by Knight.
James Barrack, chairman and managing director of Knight Property Group, said: “Securing a tenant for our third building on the site is a positive sign and gives us the confidence to commence construction of our fourth building at Prospect Park. Due to its proximity to Aberdeen, Westhill is a popular location for businesses to relocate or expand their base.
“Construction of Knight’s fourth and final pavilion which totals 23,500 sq ft is well underway. Due for completion in August 2013, Prospect Park will cover six acres of land, with 101,000 sq ft of office space over 4 Pavilions.
“Securing high profile clients such as Teekay Petrojarl for building number three is a testament to the quality of the office space and shows the continued buoyancy of the oil and gas sector in Aberdeen.”
Buildings one and two at Prospect Park are occupied by Bibby Offshore and Bluesky Business Space respectively, both of which are relocating due to company expansion.
Knight Property Group was established in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1987 and provides a complete range of property investment and development services.
