Ryon Properties has sold Brook House, Woodgate Valley Business Park in Quinton, Birmingham, for £2million, within a few months of commencing marketing.
The 21,496 sq ft office premises, with 135 car parking spaces, has been acquired by Ishida Europe Ltd, a global supplier of food packaging machines and equipment.
The freehold was put on the market by Colliers International & GVA when tenants Enpure went into administration; it has been vacant since January. Ishida own the premises next door.
Douglas Bonham, head of out-of-town offices, advised Ryon on the sale.
He said: “Freehold opportunities around the M5 are limited in this lot size. As a result, there was a lot of interest in the building, and we received numerous expressions of interest within a short period. The deal, at £93 per sq ft for un-refurbished accommodation, reflects the current scarcity of supply of good quality offices.”
