Following the acquisition of the Haslemere Way Industrial Estate by Dominvs Living Ltd – a 10 unit industrial estate extending to over 83,000 sq ft White Commercial Surveyors are in the process of letting 2 vacant units known as Units 10 and 11 previously occupied by Kannegiesser for over 25 years.
Kannegiesser with over 60 years of know how in industrial laundry technology have recently moved to a new manufacturing facility in Banbury, expanding their existing business together with a number of staff from its Kendal office also transferring to the area.
White Commercial have just completed the letting of Unit 11 to Senecio Press who provide printing, book productions and framing as well as supplying digital equipment and media to businesses and individuals worldwide.
Senecio are a family run business having been established since the early 1970s has taken a unit of close to 8,000 sq ft at Haslemere Way on a new 10 year lease. White Commercial and their clients were quoting a rental of £44,500 per annum exclusive.
Chris White of White Commercial also confirms that a transaction is due to complete on Unit 10 totalling over 8,000 sq ft.
Chris White comments, “With the shortage of industrial accommodation in North Oxfordshire we have received a good level of interest in both the units which total over 16,000 sq ft and following serious interest in the building from a number of parties our clients will have had no void period in their income for the estate.
We continue to see a reduction in supply of industrial accommodation in the region and it is only a matter of time as we move out of recession where rental values will need to increase to take account of improved demand and this lack of supply as a result of the lack of any new speculative industrial development generally.
