BNP Paribas Real Estate has continued its growth with another senior hire. James Strevens joins as senior City agency director from Cushman & Wakefield, where he has worked for the last nine years advising on a number of key development projects. Prior to his role in Cushman & Wakefield’s City team, he worked at Knight Frank’s City office for six years.
James will work with Fred Hargreaves and Dan Bayley, who head BNP Paribas Real Estate’s City & Central London business, to grow the existing City agency team whose current high profile instructions include 4m sq ft of commercial space at the International Quarter for Lend Lease & LCR, Aldgate Tower, 6 Pancras Square at King’s Cross and Moorgate Exchange for MGPA/Quadrant.
BNP Paribas Real Estate CEO John Slade said: “James is a great addition to our existing team and will help us to grow our market share in the City. We will continue to add senior experts, both to this team and elsewhere, as part of our ongoing growth strategy to offer our clients the best service and market knowledge across the UK.”
Strevens said: “BNPPRE’s City agency team has a great reputation in the market and its investment team has grown hugely over the last six months – both of which are a big attraction for me to join. I‘m excited about the continued growth and future opportunities, and look forward to working with Fred and Dan, and the rest of the City agency team.”
James’s appointment follows a number of recent senior hires including: David Herzog as senior West End agency director, Nadir Khan-Juhoor as head of agency in Edinburgh and Marcus Weurman as agency director also in Edinburgh, David Barry as senior international investment director with a focus on America; Gary Cameron as investment director in Edinburgh, Pat Pryce as national head of debt advisory and Nick Waddington as national head of logistics, in addition to several new senior directors in the City investment team.
