Stars of UK business recognised as Change Ambassadors in new awards

Microsoft Dynamics has announced the shortlist for the inaugural Change Ambassadors Awards. The awards have been managed by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).

The awards were open to employees from businesses of all sizes throughout the UK who have been recognised for their skills and efforts in leading successful change within their business.

The finalists were identified by an independent EIU judging committee. There are five awards on offer across key categories: Marketing, People and Culture, Technology, Finance, and No Boundaries.

A panel comprising qualified experts and influential thinkers from leading British businesses and academia will designate one winner per category, deemed as leading significant change within UK business.

The winners will be announced at an exclusive awards ceremony on Thursday 16th May 2013.

This video features interviews with five of the 25 short-listed entrants as they discuss how their innovations have made a difference to their respective companies and their thoughts on the importance of driving change within UK business.

Miles Austin from London has been shortlisted in the Finance category for re-branding a trade association to support cultural and structural reform and broaden its focus.

Melanie Lane from London has been shortlisted in the Marketing category for re-positioning a brand in response to changing customer and competitive trends.

Carlin McCormack from Farnborough has been shortlisted in the People and Culture category for support of self-study through external certification.

Jason Yip from Gateshead has been shortlisted in the Technology category for digitising’ a destination marketing organisation.

Cheryl Cullen from Hertfordshire has been shortlisted in the No Boundaries category for employment services for deaf people.
