The Rapleys Bristol Office have helped raise over £1,500 for Penny Brohn Cancer Care. The Rapleys team consisting of Rachel Saint, Matt Martin, Adam Crooks & Will McMahon took part in last weekends Bristol 10K along with thousands of other runners.
Penny Brohn Cancer Care was founded in 1980 as the Bristol Cancer Help Centre by Penny Brohn and Pat Pilkington. In 2006 the charity relocated to a purpose built centre on the outskirts of Bristol in Pill and was re-named Penny Brohn Cancer Care in memory of Penny who passed away in 1999 after living with cancer for 20 years. In total the charity managed to raise almost £10,000 from their team of Bristol 10K runners.
Andrew Tilling at Penny Brohn commented “I would like to say a HUGE well done and thank you to our runners for taking part in the Bristol 10K, without your efforts we would not be able to continue helping people live well with cancer”.
Rapleys will soon begin training for the Bristol Property Agents Association Cyclosportive which takes place in September.
