Pilz Automation Technology has now completed a major move into a new purpose-build headquarter building on Southern Gateway Business Park, Oakley Hay in Corby – a key gateway site into the town.
With the dedicated 11,000 sq ft property comprising of warehousing and offices on a one acre site, Pilz has increased floor space over its previous UK headquarters in the town. The building occupies a self-contained site that also benefits from a large car park and yard area.
Stephen Farrow from Pilz Automation Technology said: “The move marks a significant step in the firm’s development. With increased floor space, purpose-built to our requirements, it provides us with a strong corporate image in an easily accessible location.”
Tri-Towns Developments acquired the land for the development of Southern Gateway Business Park with assistance from Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership. Since then, it has seen excellent levels of activity with the Jet petrol filling station and Londis convenience store opening in mid-2012 and Beefeater and Premier Inn having now been trading for two years.
Mark Best from Tri-Towns Developments Limited commented: “Southern Gateway Business Park is in an excellent location and is the gateway site for Oakley Hay. As a result we are very proud to have attracted such high profile national and international occupiers including Premier Inn, Beefeater, Jet and Londis. The arrival of Pilz highlights the sites attractiveness for companies to occupy the site and we’re hopeful that there will be further new arrivals in 2013.”
