PATIENTS are benefiting from a range of soothing holistic treatments at St David’s Hospice Care thanks to £5,000 donation from Wales & West Utilities.
The money, donated by the energy infrastructure business, has equipped two rooms at the Malpas, Newport, day hospice. Hospice patients can now receive reiki, massage, aromatherapy, reflexology and relaxation therapies in the Wales & West rooms.
Jaime Falarczyk, corporate affairs manager, of Celtic Springs, Newport-based Wales & West Utilities, said: “St David’s Hospice Care is a truly wonderful charity providing a tremendous free service to those in the local community suffering from cancer and other life threatening diseases.
“We are delighted to be able to do our bit to help and to know that these two rooms at St David’s day hospice are so very well received, used and appreciated by the patients.”
