BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Gary Cameron as director of its Scottish investment team.
Gary joins from niche investment practice, Inglis Howie, where he worked as a director. During his time there, he was involved in a number of investment deals across all sectors, including the purchase of Denburn House in Aberdeen city centre, the 125,000 sq ft Murcar Industrial Estate and a Clydesdale Bank retail portfolio.
Gary will continue to deal with all aspects of property investment across the country with a range of clients, which over the years have included CBRE Global Investors, Land Securities, Aberdeen Asset Management, Lumina Real Estate and Ernst & Young.
BNP Paribas Real Estate’s head of Scotland, Gavin Willins, said: “Gary is a great addition to our expanding team, as he is a well-established name within the Scottish market, with almost 20 years’ experience. This added strength and depth will ensure that our clients’ needs across Scotland are expertly managed.”
This appointment follows BNP Paribas Real Estate’s recent recruitment of Nadir Khan-Juhoor as director and head of the Edinburgh office agency from Knight Frank, Patrick Heaps as head of retail from Drivers Jonas Deloitte, Simon Williams as head of retail investment also from Drivers Jonas Deloitte, Adrian Owen as UK head of residential consulting from Montagu Evans, David Herzog as a senior director in West End office agency and several other senior directors.
