Colliers International has been instructed to sell the former National Temperance Hospital on behalf of the Medical Research Council. The 0.9 acre site is centrally located on the Hampstead Road, close to Euston Railway and Underground Station.
Working along the Make Architects, a pre-application scheme has been put to the London Borough of Camden for demolition and the creation of an impressive residentially-led mixed use development scheme consisting of over 250,000sq ft.
Annabel Haan, Director at Colliers International said: “The site of the hospital is in an ideal location and the property represents a very attractive development opportunity. We have worked with both Make and Camden to create a scheme that will be very appealing to both developers and house-builders.”
The scheme is located in an area which has recently seen a significant amount of development activity, including British Land’s 13 acre scheme, Regents Place, located just to the south. Derwent has also recently been granted planning consent for a large mixed use scheme just to the north of the Former National Temperance Hospital site.
The guide price for the property is £30 million.
