The Ministry of Justice is expanding its Wolverhampton operation in a move aimed at cutting a backlog of tribunal cases.
Black Country property agents Bond Wolfe have put together a deal for the MoJ to grow its existing location in the city.
The Ministry is currently in 2,000 sq ft at Waterloo Court but is taking a further 1,000 sq ft on the ground floor.
James Mattin, managing partner of Bond Wolfe, said: “This is good news for Wolverhampton and good news for those in the tribunal queue.
“Hopefully it will mean some extra jobs and act as a catalyst for others to take the plunge.
“It is a confidence booster for the whole Black Country economy.”
Other occupiers of Waterloo Court include, Reed Recruitment, Handelsbanken and The Leonard Cheshire Foundation.
It means just two suites remain at the complex which enjoys the added advantage of onsite parking.
Bond Wolfe acted for the landlords while the MoJ were represented by GVA.
