BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed David Barry as a senior director within its UK international investment section. David will focus on American investors, working in close partnership with BNP Paribas Real Estate’s North American alliance partner, TransWestern.
David, who was previously a managing director of New York based real estate advisory firm The Carlton Group, specialises in advising clients based across the US and Europe on mandates such as debt/equity raising, acquisitions, restructuring and loan sales.
As a leading investment expert, David has successfully sourced and executed more than £1bn of transactions over the past two years.
BNP Paribas Real Estate’s UK CEO, John Slade, said: “David is a great addition to our expanding international investment team, as he brings with him a network of contacts based across the US. His clients include high net-worth individuals, family offices, investment banks, large investment/private equity houses, pension funds and endowment funds.”
This appointment follows BNP Paribas Real Estate’s recent recruitment of David Herzog as senior director in its West End office agency, Adrian Owen as UK head of residential consulting from Montagu Evans, Nadir Khan-Juhoor as director and head of the Edinburgh office agency from Knight Frank, Patrick Heaps as head of retail from Drivers Jonas Deloitte, Simon Williams as head of retail investment also from Drivers Jonas Deloitte and several other senior directors.
